• 1875 Find a Grave - Spouse George Burge passes.
• 1880 Federal census has Katherine living in Catherine, Schuyler Co., NY with her parents, Sylvester (68) and Eleanor (69) Mix and her daughter, Eleanor M Burge (8). THe census is full of familiar names as relatively close neighbors some Frosts, Emiline Ganoung, Edith Cogswell (then 8), Guy Milspaugh, VanLoons, Smiths, Owens, even perhaps Emma Campbell.
• 1885-09-16 letter - Sarah Owen is related plans for Mary A Wood "Mate" to work for Mrs. Burge starting in November.
• 1889-03-15 letter - Mate Wood is relating to her mother Mary A (Ganoung) Wood that she has not seen "Mrs B"
