Dear Bert –
I will try & write you a fieu lines to let you know how we are. I havent sit up any yet. I have been so weak all the time but I am going to try it before many days. baby has a spell every evening then sleeps the rest of the night & he worries most of the fornoon. I was goint to have Edith write for me but her and John have gone to town & ma is writing to Mate. it is not a verry easy job to write laying on my back but I will try it just the same. I hope you are feeling better. I have worried so about you. Now please be careful & dont lift & lug & hurt your back worse. I am going to get you some linament & will try & have it by the time you come up & come us as soon as you can. the children have been to the neighbors most every day this week. Jane was in to see me yestarday. Will close for this time. please write soon.
