• 1860-08-08 Federal census Catharine, Schuyler Co., NY Ganoung family at dwelling 532: Jonathan(55), Mary(45), Melissa(18), Sally(16), Guy(14), Nelson(12), William(7) and Philip Hoffman(38). Melissa is also at dwelling 537, the Fletchers. Relatively sure it's the same person double-counted.

I drew the sibling line between Melissa's father, Jonathan, and Mate's grandfather, Elias, based on both coming out of Chenango Co., NY and the proximity of their birth years.
