- 1830 Federal census shows Isaac(while male 20-49) living with wife Catherine (white female 20-49) and daughter Maria (white male under 5?) living in Newton, Sussex Co., NJ.
- 1840 Federal census has the Isaac Stage family in Easton Lehigh Ward, Northhampton, PA. Isaac - male 30-39, Catherine- femail 30-39, John A - male 5-9, Phoebe and Emiiine/Emily - females under 5, Anjoline - female 5-9 and Maria who is list as male 10-14..
- 1850 Federal census for Goshen, Orange Co., NY has Isaac(42) living with wife Catherine(43) and children Angeline(17), Emeline(15), Phoebe(12), Edward(9), Isaac(6), Sarah L(4) and Charles(1). Isaac and Catherine are both listed as born in NY though we're reasonably sure Isaac was born in NJ. They are Dwelling 22 and Family 22. At 20/20 Solomon Wood and family. Seems a generation early to be looking for Wood/Stage connections, but Samuel and Helen have to meet somehow... Some Knapps at 106/107. John Stage is living with a different Knapp group in Chester, NY (4-6 miles away). Mary comes out of here somewhere.
